Filmmaker Karan Johar took to twitter to unveil the teaser trailer of his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The movie pairs Ranbir Kapoor (33) opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (42) for the first time ever. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil also stars Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.
The teaser shows Ranbir with Aishwarya and Anusha in seemingly different timelines, possibly hinting at the complexities of the relationship they share with one another. The promo opens up with Ranbir's character singing the movie's title song. Ranbir does it so convincingly that you get hooked from the word go. The scene then cuts to Ranbir's tantalizing romance sequences involving Anushka/Aishwarya with the delightful song still being played in the background. Although, Fawad Khan appears briefly in between, he does unleash his irresistible charm. He is definitely going to be the movie's surprise package.
Speaking of surprises, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will feature a special cameo from Shah Rukh Khan. According to reports, it would be something like Mohabbatein in reverse. But the USP of the teaser is easily Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is looking so ravishing that it appears that the clock has been turned back by about a decade. The teaser ends with
Can't wait to watch it? Well, rest assured, the wait would not be a very long one! Ae Dil Hai Mushkil hits the theaters this Diwali. The official release date is 28th October, 2016.
