A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature
Deepika Padukone had shocked the world by sharing her picture with a mysterious bald hunky dude about a year back. Although, all we could see was the guy's back but the 'xXx' poster in the back made it more than obvious that the guy was none other than Vin Diesel. It also made one more thing obvious. That Deepika was all set to make her Hollywood debut.
Apparently, Deepika was earlier approached for a role in Fast and Furious 7 but Ram-Leela's shooting schedule forced her to turn it down. When asked about her lost opportunity, here is what she had said: "I don’t regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn’t have left the process mid way, I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film has got response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off."
And then the opportunity came the second time around and she was quick to hold on to it. But working in a Hollywood action movie is no joke and so she had to work really hard to get into proper shape for the film.
Of course, Deepika kept her fans updated about her progresses by regularly posting photos/videos on the social media. And the rest is history.
