100 Pipers 'Play For a Cause' - The Dire Straits Experience

A Potpourri of Vestiges Feature

100 Pipers #PlayForACause is set to take a giant leap forward with the world famous British band Dire Straits performing live in India for the very first time. The renowned band had become the veteran rock & rollers in the 1980s by achieving global album sales of over 100 million and as many as three Britt awards.

It’s not going to be an ordinary tour, for the iconic band would support 100 Pipers ‘Play For A Cause’ initiative focused around providing sustainable drinking water to the villagers in Rajasthan.

The upcoming event in India would witness performances from the original Dire Straits band members Chris White (sax, flute, percussions, vocals) and Chris Witten (drums) along with the man with whom they will revive the Dire Straits experience in the most spectacular manner: Terence Reis (Lead Vocals and Guitar). The fans would be up for a real treat as the terrific trio will play some of the greatest hits including Walk of Life, Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Tunnel of Love, Brothers in Arms, Romeo and Juliet, and more.

Chris White said, “Indian has always been on our list and we are very excited to play on India. Our 2 city tour in India, in Gurgaon and Bangalore, is to support the 100 Pipers ‘Play For A Cause’ initiative to provide water to villages in Rajasthan. The power of music is incredible and it brings together people across nations and cultures. We are happy to become a part of this great event which is bringing music and artists together to make a difference to the society.”

The iconic band would be performing live in Gurugram and Bengaluru on 17th and 19th March. Through the 100 Pipers 'Play For A Cause' initiative, the band will strive to inspire us to ‘Be Remembered For Good’.

So make sure that you catch the popular band’s life performance and become a part of 100 Pipers ‘Play for a cause’ initiative. The tickets for the concert are available at BookMyShow and can be booked here
