Rajinikanth starrer Kaala has been engulfed in controversy ever since its music launch. It can be greatly attributed to Rajinikanth's entry into politics. First the Tamil Nadu government didn't seem to impressed with the revolutionary lyrics of Kaala songs and subsequently the pro-Kannada people started opposing the film ever since Rajinikanth made a statement in the favor of Tamil Nadu over the ongoing Cauvery dispute between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Murtaza Ali Khan, Editor-in-Chief of A Potpourri of Vestiges, was invited earlier today by NewsX to participate in a live discussion on the prospects of the Rajinikanth at the box-office in the light of the Supreme Court's verdict in favor of the movie's Pan-India release despite protests from pro-Kannada groups.
