The trailer of Manmarziyaan is finally out. Anurag Kashyap seems to be entering an uncharted territory with the film, a romantic drama starring Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal. The film is co-produced by Aanand L Rai and Phantom Films.
The trailer looks very promising and it is yet again Vicky Kaushal who seems to be the scene-stealer here. His chemistry with Taapsee Pannu can very well prove to be the movie's USP. As for Abhishek Bachchan, he must be counting really heavily on this film's success. He hasn't had a film in a long long time now and so this film is of great importance to his future in Bollywood.
Kashyap, even though he is treading a different path with Manmarziyaan, actually gives us glimpses of the color schemes he employed in Dev D. Also, his child-like fascination for sex is also pretty much evident here as well.
Watching the trailer one feels that the chemistry between Pannu and Bachchan is rather weak in comparison to the chemistry that Pannu shares with Kaushal.
The film is slated to release on 14th September 2018.
