6th edition of Rajasthan International Film Festival will be organised by RIFF Film Club from January 18 to January 22, 2020 at Jawahar Kala Kendra and Cinepolis, World Trade Park, JLN Marg, Jaipur on the theme of 5 Years of RIFF & 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi. The Focus Country of the Rajasthan International Film Festival this year will be South Korea where Korean Documentary Film Director Moyoung Jin and Korean Culture Center Director Kim Kumpyoung will be present at the Opening Ceremony of RIFF at Jawahar Kala Kendra , Jaipur . South Korea's Short film Naye Chale (My Turn) will be the opening film of RIFF 2020. Kim Kumpyoung, Director of the Korean Culture Center will be part of the talk show "The Changing Landscape and Future of Cinema" on 19 January 2020.
Korean Documentary Film Director Moyoung Jin's 2 films "My Love, Don't Cross Date River" and "Old Marine Boy" will have special screenings at RIFF 2020. Director Moyoung Jin will be present for all five days of the festival and will be present in the talk show "The Descending Division between Hallyuwood , Bollywood and Regional Indian Cinema ". Korean documentary film director Moyoung Jin will be also awarded with the Honorary Award for Excellence Contribution in International Cinema at the RIFF Award Ceremony on 22 January.
Somendra Harsh and Anshu Harsh , Managing Trustee of RIFF Film Club and Founder of Rajasthan International Film Festival stated that "RIFF's inauguration ceremony will be held on 18 January 2020 at 5 PM at Open Theater, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur and finally on 22 January , the award ceremony will be held at the Open Theater, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, in which best films, artists will be honored. Films Screening, Seminars, Workshops, Talk Shows, Knowledge Series will be held at Cinepolis, World Trade Park, JLN Marg, Jaipur. Feature Films, Short Films which has been awarded and screened at the various Film Festivals of India and abroad , Music video albums, documentary films, Animation films and Regional films will be screened. Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) is been accredited by the Federation of Film Society of India ( FFSI)
