Mira Nair's BBC series 'A Suitable Boy' available in India on Netflix has landed up in a major controversy. The six-episode miniseries was aired in the UK on BBC One from 26th July 2020 to 24th August 2020. Netflix released the show in the global territories (except continental North America and China) on 23 October 2020. It's been a month seen the show became available in India and it's only now that these objections have been raised. Film & TV critic Murtaza Ali Khan shared his views on the controversy with Mirror Now on a phone call earlier in the day.
As we have no censor board for OTT platform, do we need more censorship?
