PVR INOX, India’s premier multiplex chain, celebrated the successful Silver Jubilee completion of the movie 12th Fail at PVR Andheri. As the movie completed a glorious 25-week run in the cinemas, the Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra along with the star cast of the movie, including Vikrant Massey & Medha Shankar, and, joined teams from VCF Films, Zee Studios and PVR INOX came together to celebrate the momentous occasion.
Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, '12th Fail' depicts the journey of Manoj, a determined youth from Chambal striving to fulfil his dream of becoming an IPS officer. The film chronicles his struggles, resilience, and the hurdles he encounters during the fiercely competitive Union Public Service Commission exams, highlighting the importance of perseverance and integrity. The movie is based on Anurag Pathak’s bestselling novel, “Twelfth Fail”, based on the real life story of IPS officer Manoj Sharma and his wife Shraddha Joshi, an IRS officer.
